Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 13, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ('Terms') govern your access to and use of DocuMint AI (the 'Service'). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. About DocuMint AI
DocuMint AI ('DocuMint AI', 'we', 'us', or 'our') is a document workspace that helps you organize, transform, understand, and create PDFs and other documents using a set of file tools and AI-powered features (including summarizing, asking questions about a document, extracting information, rewriting, translating, and comparing documents).
2. Eligibility & Account Responsibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at saadalihashmi7777@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Subscription Plans
DocuMint AI offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans (currently Starter, Pro, and Advanced). Each plan includes a daily allowance of AI actions shared across the AI features; current plan details and pricing are shown on our Pricing page. We may introduce, modify, or retire plans over time, as described in Section 15.
4. Recurring Billing & Free Trial
Paid plans bill on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, depending on what you select at checkout) until canceled. Starter, Pro, and Advanced plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically continue and you will be charged for the plan and billing cycle you selected. Prices, currencies, and any applicable tax are shown before you complete checkout.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing portal (Account & Billing → Manage subscription). Cancelling stops future renewals; unless stated otherwise at the time of cancellation, your paid access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, after which your account moves to the Free plan. See our Refund Policy for how this interacts with billing already collected.
6. AI Usage Limits
Each plan has a daily allowance of AI actions, shared across all AI features, that resets once per day. We may adjust these allowances (including introducing fair-use limits to prevent abuse of the Service) and will make reasonable efforts to keep current limits visible on the Pricing page.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload or process content you don't have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Upload unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or malicious content, or content used to harass, defraud, or impersonate others;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems; or
- Use the Service to build a directly competing product or to circumvent its usage limits or billing.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, as described in Section 12.
8. Your Documents
You retain ownership of the documents and content you upload ('Your Content'). You're solely responsible for Your Content and for having the necessary rights and permissions to upload and process it through the Service. You grant us a limited right to process Your Content solely to provide the features you request (for example, generating a summary or a translation).
9. Intellectual Property
The Service — including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology — is owned by DocuMint AI or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or underlying technology beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.
10. AI Output Limitations
Summaries, answers, extractions, rewrites, translations, and comparisons produced by the Service are generated using third-party AI models and are provided for convenience only. AI-generated output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date, and should not be relied on as legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. You're responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before relying on or acting on it.
11. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control (including outages of the third-party providers we rely on).
12. Billing, Payments & Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
This means Paddle collects payment, issues receipts, and is responsible for related tax obligations. See our Refund Policy for how billing questions and refund requests are handled.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required to do so by law. Where reasonably possible, we'll try to notify you before doing so.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocuMint AI and its suppliers won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available,' without warranties of any kind except as required by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded or limited under applicable law.
15. Changes to the Service or These Terms
We may update the Service (including features, plans, and usage limits) and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the 'Last updated' date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
Because Paddle.com acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases, payment-related terms and disputes are also subject to Paddle's own terms of sale, provided to you at checkout and in your purchase confirmation. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory or mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the country in which you reside.
